Model Resume Guidance
A model CV, or model resume, is a document that highlights a model’s skills and experience in a way that’s relevant to the modeling industry. It typically includes professional photos and a list of skills such as posing, runway walking, public speaking, and dance.
1. Contact Information
At the top of your resume:
- Full Name
- Phone Number
- Professional Email Address
- Link to Portfolio or Modeling Profile (e.g., Instagram, agency page, or personal website)
- Location (City, State or Country)
- Social Media Handles (if professional and relevant)
2. Physical Attributes
Modeling jobs often require specific physical details. List these in a clear format:
- Height
- Weight
- Hair Color
- Eye Color
- Measurements (Bust/Waist/Hip for women; Chest/Waist/Inseam for men)
- Shoe Size
3. Professional Summary or Objective
A short paragraph that highlights your modeling experience, key achievements, and areas of expertise. Tailor this to the job or agency you’re applying to.
Example:
Professional model with 4+ years of experience in high-fashion, commercial, and runway modeling. Skilled in posing, walking, and creating compelling visual stories. Collaborated with top designers, photographers, and brands, appearing in print campaigns, magazine editorials, and fashion shows. Dedicated to delivering exceptional results with a strong work ethic and adaptability.
4. Modeling Experience
List your experience in reverse chronological order. Include the type of modeling, the client or project name, location, and date. Highlight achievements or notable collaborations.
